Privacy, compatibility and editing limits

Your files stay local. All PDF and image processing runs in JavaScript inside this tab. No uploads, remote APIs, browser storage or analytics. Close the tab to discard the in-memory editing session. Download a copy to save your work.

Original content is not rasterized. Export retains original PDF page streams and adds vector text/shapes or embedded images. It is a rewritten copy, not byte-for-byte identical. This tool is not a full desktop PDF editor: original page text, vectors and scanned images are not editable. Added objects become ordinary page content after export and are not separately editable if you reopen the exported PDF.

No redaction or sanitization. A shape covering content does not remove it. Existing links, metadata, actions and attachments can remain in the exported PDF; this tool does not execute document scripts. Do not treat exported files as cleaned or safe.

Signed documents need an explicit unsigned copy. Any edit invalidates digital signatures. This editor asks before creating a separate unsigned working copy. The original is never overwritten. A drawn or scanned signature is ordinary page content and cannot be removed here.

Compatibility. Encrypted/password-protected PDFs, XFA forms and damaged structures and individual images above 24 megapixels are refused. Individually rotated form widgets are displayed but not editable. Added text supports Western Latin characters using Helvetica, Times or Courier. Font appearance may vary slightly between the live overlay and exported PDF. Some advanced color profiles and complex PDFs may render differently. Inspect your downloaded copy before relying on it.
